1. Purchasing from ECOTREK

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
You are at least 18 years old;
The details you provide are accurate and complete, and you are an authorised user of the payment method you are using.

Products can be purchased securely using Visa, Mastercard, Zip, PayPal, WeChat, Alipay, or internet banking for online shopping. EFTPOS is available for in-store purchases. Your payment details are protected with the latest security technology and are only used for the transaction you authorise.

When purchasing, you will be asked to register your email address to complete your order. We may contact you directly regarding your order if needed.

2. Coupons & Store Credit

Coupons:

ECOTREK coupon codes can be redeemed online, in store, or both, depending on the coupon.
Coupons are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
Usage is subject to these Terms & Conditions and may be updated from time to time.

Store Credit:

Store credits are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
Items purchased with store credit are not eligible for Change of Mind returns or refunds.

3. Pricing and Errors

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
ECOTREK reserves the right to correct any pricing errors and cancel orders placed under incorrect pricing.
Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
Online and in-store pricing may differ.

4. Product Information & Usage Disclaimer

Product Information:
ECOTREK strives to accurately display product images, specifications, and descriptions on our Website. However, actual product colors, sizes, or features may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings, or natural material differences.

Outdoor Equipment Use:

Our products, including tents, sleeping bags, outdoor tables and chairs, and other camping equipment, are designed for typical outdoor use.
Users must follow all safety instructions provided with the product.
ECOTREK is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow instructions.

Assembly & Setup:

Follow the instruction manual carefully when setting up tents, tables, or other equipment.
Improper setup may result in damage or unsafe conditions.
ECOTREK is not responsible for costs or damages resulting from incorrect assembly or setup.

Weather & Environmental Disclaimer:

Outdoor products are designed for standard conditions; extreme weather or environmental conditions may affect performance.
ECOTREK is not responsible for damage or loss caused by exposure to severe weather, fire, flooding, or other natural events.

All product dimensions are approximate and provided for reference only. Slight variations in actual dimensions may occur due to manual measurement.

5. Stock Availability & Multiple Shipments

All items sold via the ECOTREK website are subject to availability.
ECOTREK reserves the right not to accept or to cancel any order for products that are out of stock.
Orders from local partners may arrive in separate deliveries. Extra shipping costs may apply.

6. Cancelling Orders

ECOTREK reserves the right to cancel orders for reasons including suspected fraud, misuse of promotions, pricing errors, or abandoned orders.
If we cancel your order, we will refund any payment made. We accept no liability for any resulting loss or inconvenience.

Estimated delivery times are indicative only; ECOTREK is not liable for delays.

8. Reviews & User-Generated Content

By submitting reviews, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant ECOTREK a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display your User Content.
You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.
ECOTREK reserves the right to monitor, edit, or remove User Content at its sole discretion.

9. Promotions & Discounts

Discounts and promotional prices apply only during the advertised sale period.
Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
If an item purchased with a promotion is returned, the refund will reflect the discounted amount paid.

Unauthorised Modifications:

Any attempt to modify, or alter the product without prior written approval may void the warranty.
Damaged products due to unauthorised modifications will not be eligible for warranty or replacement.

ECOTREK complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
If purchasing for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.
